Papua New Guinea Kindeng Mill - Natural - Filter Roast

Toffee, papaya and cooked melon with mild cocoa flavour. Complex acidity and fruit-like sweetness.

This coffee originates from the Kindeng Dry Mill in Papua New Guinea’s Jikawa Province. It is a blend of cherries sourced from around 1,500 smallholder farmers in the Kindeng and Arufa municipalities. Farms in this region are typically 1–2 hectares in size, with soils ranging from sandy loam to loamy clay.

After harvest, cherries are delivered to the mill for processing and dried on raised beds and canvases. They are turned several times a day over the course of about a month to ensure even drying and consistent moisture levels. Once properly dried, the coffee is bagged, stored in a cool, dry warehouse, hulled, milled, and prepared for export.
